The Port St Joe Jr./Sr. High School softball team (1-1) traveled to Graceville last week to play the Lady Tigers and came away with a five-inning 15-2 win ended by the mercy rule.


The Port St Joe Jr./Sr. High School softball team (1-1) traveled to Graceville last week to play the Lady Tigers and came away with a five-inning 15-2 win ended by the mercy rule.



Stephanie Brinkmeier and MaKayla Ramsey, back from arm surgery, combined for the win.



Brinkmeier pitched two innings giving up two runs on one hit while walking one and striking out one.



Ramsey entered in the third inning and allowed no runs on two hits while walking none and striking out five.



The Lady Sharks went on a hitting attack with 18 hits.



Ramsey, Shannon Pridgeon, and Brinkmeier had three hits each.



Hal’Leigh Keels had a triple and single, Brittany King with two hits, including a double, and Christian Laine had two hits.



Haley Wood, Lexie McGhee, and Kelsey Miles had a hit each.



This week the Lady Sharks host Blountstown Thursday, South Walton Friday, and travel to Liberty County on Saturday. A junior varsity game will precede the Blountstown game. All games are district games. Come out and support your Lady Sharks.
