Senior Recognition: Today is the last day to order a Yearbook Senior Recognition Ad. Ad forms and templates may be picked up in Coach Taylor’s class. All forms and pictures need to be turned in no later than Feb. 28.
NJROTC News– The NJROTC will be holding their Annual Military Ball on March 1 at Tyndall Air Force Base. The drawing for the Port St Joe Schools Quilt will be at the Military Ball so see a cadet for a chance to take this beautiful quilt home.
The Drill Competition scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23 at FAMU was cancelled due to rain. The NJROTC is planning trip to the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center for an orientation visit, FAMU for a college campus visit and Gulf High School in New Port Richey for an Athletic Competition.

Black History Celebration -Our Black History Month celebration will be held 9 a.m. ET today in the Gym. All are invited to attend.
Football – Spring football begins May 1. All interested students need to have a completed or updated sports physical to be eligible to practice. See Coach Gannon for more details. Physical Forms may be picked up in the Main Office.
Spring Break – Port St Joe Junior Senior High School’s Spring Break will be March 11– 15. Parents are asked to check with individual coaches for their practice/game schedule during that period. Classes will resume on Monday, March 18.
Art News – We wish to thank Paulina Pendarvis of Sacred Heart Hospital. She has been working closely with several art students, training them as student interns. These students then work as volunteers at Sacred Heart in Port St Joe doing art projects with patients.
The art classes have put on loan their collection of oil and acrylic still life paints to Gulf Coast College in St. Joe for the Shells and Tails event that will be held on the weekend of March 8.
