The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School softball team came away with a split last Saturday as the Lady Tiger Sharks hosted four teams during their annual Spring Classic.


The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School softball team came away with a split last Saturday as the Lady Tiger Sharks hosted four teams during their annual Spring Classic.



Sneads, Bay High and Madison County joined Port St. Joe on the diamond.



Bay High downed Port St. Joe 7-3 in the opening game.



Stephanie Brinkmeier pitched three innings and allowed five hits and three runs while walking none and striking out two.



MaKayla Ramsey entered in the fourth and allowed10 hits and four runs while fanning five and walking none.



Brinkmeier had a double, single and drove in one run. Shannon Pridgeon also doubled and Haley Wood, Hal’Leigh Keels and Kelsey Miles each had a hit.



Port St. Joe faced Madison County later in the day and won 8-1.



Ramsey went the distance on the mound, giving up three hits, one run and striking out three while walking none.



Miles had two hits, Brittney King a double and two RBIs, Keels a double and two RBIs to lead the Lady Tiger Sharks.



Ramsey, Wood, Pridgeon and Christian Laine each had a hit and Wood drove in one run.



Port St. Joe is at Blountstown tonight and Franklin County on Friday.
