The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School track team competed in the 14th annual Capital City Classic in Tallahassee over the past weekend.


The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School track team competed in the 14th annual Capital City Classic in Tallahassee over the past weekend.



On the girls’ side, Maya Robbins placed fifth in the 100 meters, took seventh in the 200 meters and was fourth in the long jump.



Celeste Chiles was fourth in the pole vault and Dantasia Welch fourth in the triple jump.



For the boys, N’Namdi Davis won the triple jump with a leap of 43-feet-1 inch and also took second in the long jump. Davis earned fourth at 100 meters and finished seventh at 200 meters.



Jack Cummings was the only other Tiger Shark to place, finishing eighth in the shot put.



The track teams will be action at the Northwest Florida Relays in Panama City on Saturday.
