Mrs. Doris Tullis of Port St. Joe went to her heavenly home on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the age of 75, after a long battle with COPD. Doris was a loving wife, a homemaker like no other. She was very involved in the lives of her husband and three children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was an amazing mother and she cared deeply for her family and community.
Mrs. Tullis is preceded in death by her father, JB Waters; her brother, Roy Waters; and her sister, Myra Sue Byrd.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Tullis of Port St. Joe; sons, Donald Tullis, Harold Tullis and wife Stacey all of Port St. Joe, and James Tullis and wife Wendi of Wellborn, FL; her grandchildren, Victoria McCall, Julie Parrish and husband Greg, Cassie Tullis, and Rachel Tullis; her great-grandchildren, Jacob Scott and Emily Parrish; her loving sisters, Myrtle Harris of Panama City, Mildred Levins and husband Joe of Port St. Joe, and Joyce Scully and husband Dennis of Highland View; her brothers, John H. Waters and James Edward Waters both of Howard Creek; sister-in-law, Sharon Caylor of Port St. Joe; and brother-in-law Larry Byrd of Crestview, FL; she also had 27 nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Holly Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Fernandez officiating.
The family received friends at their home.
