Dear Editor,

In the Wall Street Journal, on page A5 of the Jan. 8 edition, is a story headlined, "Half of the management (for Gulf Settlement Program) has resigned or been terminated."

At least twice a month the WSJ updates the public on fraudulent, improper, and unethical settlements of the Restore Funds.  They now have former FBI director Louis Freeh looking into these improprieties.

Where did St. Joe's money go?  I remember a time when several of the commissioners wanted to keep an outgoing commissioner, who was moving out of the county, as our representative.  Once again, where did the money go?

It seems to me that our newest commissioner, Joanna Bryan, does have St. Joe's best interest in mind.

It is time for the "old guard" to move on.  Please think of this during our next elections.
