After a pair of losses in the Tallahassee Maclay Holiday Hoops Classic over the holiday break, the Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School girls’ basketball team got back on track a 54-38 win over Jefferson County.

The Lady Tiger Sharks also beat Bay High and remained undefeated in District 4-1A with wins over West Gadsden at home and Bozeman on the road.



The Lady Tiger Sharks are 11-7 overall and 7-0 in district play.



Port St. Joe lost to Creekside and Oak Hall during the Holiday Hoops Classic.



Against Jefferson County, Teiyahna Hutchinson led all scorers with 19 points while Hallie Jasinski added six, Brooklyn Quinn and Aliyah Johnson each had five, Callie Fleshner, Zakeriah “Flossy” Pittman and Maliyah McNair each had four, and Java Patterson two.



At Bay High last Monday, the Lady Tiger Sharks won 41-25 with Hutchinson scoring 19 points, Jasinski eight, Quinn, Fleshner and Patterson four apiece and McNair two.



Last Friday, the Lady Tiger Sharks hosted West Gadsden, taking a 18-12 lead into intermission and winning 42-23.



Hutchinson and Quinn each had 14 points, Jasinski seven and Fleshner five.



The following day Port St. Joe traveled to take on Bozeman.



After a slow start – the Lady Tiger Sharks were up 24-22 at halftime – Port St. Joe pulled away for a 61-27 win.



Hutchinson poured in 27 points to lead Port St. Joe. Quinn and Patterson each had eight, Pittman six, Fleshner and McNair each had 4 points and Jasinski and Qunci Elphinstone added two points apiece.



The Lady Tiger Sharks play their final three district games this week, hosting Liberty County Tuesday before traveling to South Walton Friday and hosting Franklin County on Saturday.
