Your generosity, encouragement, love and prayers have kept us going since my sister, Marsha Posey
Your generosity, encouragement, love and prayers have kept us going since my sister, Marsha Posey, was diagnosed with lung and hip cancer in July. You have made it possible for her to make the trips to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa for hip replacement surgery, follow-up medical visits, radiation treatments and most recently, chemotherapy. We appreciate each and every one of you and can never thank you enough! Please keep praying for her as she continues treatment.
Also, our community lost two men recently who I must recognize for giving their time and energy to correct an unsafe condition at her home. Christopher Acree, our nephew by love if not blood, and his mother Irene brought materials and spent the day replacing the steps to Marsha’s deck. Those existing were old and unsafe, especially for someone with an infirmity. Christopher, an excellent carpenter, was so happy to perform the work; he had such a wonderful heart and desire to help. Terry Dykes worked with him that day; Terry also had a kind heart and never met anyone he didn’t have a smile for. The end result was a set of steps that will be solidly in place for many years. Please remember these men for their kindness.
I never travel anywhere in Gulf County that I am not asked about Marsha. It means so much to know that she remains in your thoughts and prayers. Thank You and God Bless!
