Gulf County Sheriff's Arrest Log

The Gulf County Sheriff's Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the months of May and June. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line.

On 06/02/2009 Olita Lynn Foster, w/m43, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear warrant from Okaloosa County the original charge was DWLSR.

On 06/02/2009 Marlan Byrne McCutchan, w/f 40, was arrested for DUI the results of the breath test 0.142 and 0.134 both over the legal limit.

On 06/02/2009 Autumn Rose Cloud, w/f 26, was arrested on charges of accessory after the fact and on) 6/03/2009 Troy Dewonne Williams, b/m, 30 was arrested for uttering a forges instrument for a incident where Williams tried to pass some counterfeit $20 bills.

On 06/04/2009 a vehicle driven by Joseph Paul Riley, w/m 46, was stopped for failing to stop at a stop sign, Mr. Riley told the deputy his license had been suspended for a long time. He was arrested for DWLSR.

On 06/04/2009 Donya Bennett Johnson, w/f 43, came to the sheriffs office stating she had a warrant for failure to pay child support. She was arrested and released after paying the purge.

On 06/07/2009 members of the Gulf County Sheriffs Office and the Florida Department of corrections worked a joint investigation into the introduction of contraband into Gulf Correctional institute. Fanta Sea Elizabeth Dennis, w/f 23, and Yolanda J Rodriguez, w/f 18, were arrested as they attempted to smuggle marijuana into the prison. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance, introduction of contraband and conspiracy to introduce contraband into a state correctional facility. Charges are pending on an inmate at the prison.

On 06/09/2009 at approximately 2:30 a.m. deputies noticed several young men walking on Reid Ave. in Wewahitchka. When he stopped and talked to the boys, one of the boys had a hammer stuck in the front of his pants. Both gave different stories about where they had been and what they had been doing. Ethan Perry Goodman, w/m 18, and a juvenile was arrested for loitering and prowling.

On 06/09/2009 Steven Allen Snipes, w/m 47, was attested on a warrant for failure to appear the original charge was DUI.

On 06/09/2009 Efrain Ramirez, w/m 45, was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support.

On 06/09/2009 Roger Dale Dye, w/m 25, was arrested after an altercation and charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly pulled a knife on two people and possession of drug paraphernalia when a pipe was found in his pocket after his arrest.

On 06/09/2009 Deondray Fisher, b/m 31, was arrested on two warrants for burglary for incidents that occurred in the early part of May.

On 06/10/2009 Leila Lynette Barber, w/f 37, was arrested for violation of probation. The original charge was felony DWLSR.
