Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log
The Gulf County Sheriff's Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the month June 2009. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line.
On 06/11/2009 Alice Lawanda Clayton, 52, was arrested on a warrant for sale of crack cocaine within a 1000 feet of a church.
On 06/11/2009 Jerry Thomas Gates, 65, was arrested on warrants from Calhoun County.
On 06/12/2009 Deputies responded to a call of a suspicious person in the Cape San Blas area. The caller said someone was hooking a truck up to the neighbor's boat and the neighbor was out of town. Deputies located the vehicle several minutes later and when the deputy attempted to pull the vehicle over two of the individuals fled on foot. Besides the stolen boat there was also a stolen four-wheeler in the truck. James Edward Pilotta, 23, and Timothy Shawn Ward, 27, were arrested and charged with grand theft. Several days later the two that fled, George Weems Ward, 29, and Alvin Glenn Martina, 25, were also arrested and charge with Grand theft.
On 6/10/2009 Brandy Leigh Richter Pyne, 25, was arrested and charged with uttering a forged instrument, it is alleged that she cashed a check that was stolen from a 78-year-old resident of Port St Joe.
On 06/12/2009 James D Braswell, 42, was arrested on charges of scheming to defraud and uttering a forged instrument the charges were filed by the FWC.
On/13/2009 Travis Irey Whitfield, 23, was arrested on charges of DWLSR.
On 06/14/2009 Courtney Suzanne Cole, 22, was arrested on charges of battery.
On 06/14/2009 Tony Ray Dorsey, 33, was arrested for DWLSR. This is the second time in a week Mr. Dorsey has been arrested for DWLSR.
On 06/14/2009 Nichole Marie Reis Current, 29, was arrested for DWLSR.
On 06/14/2009 Jeremy Edward Hysmith, 29, was arrested for DWLSR.
On 06/15/2009 Olita Lynn Foster was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support.
On 06/15/2009 Allen Francis Rodar, 53, was arrested on a warrant for grand theft auto. It is alleged that Rodar stole a car from the Beacon Hill area on June 9.
On 06/15/2009 Daniella Suzanah Persinger, 18, and a white male juvenile were arrested on charges of aggravated battery.
On 06/16/2009 Charles Duane Melvin, 39, was arrested on three warrants for violation of an injunction for protection.
On 06/17/2009 Terrance Dawan Dawson, 21, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear. The original charge was possession of a controlled substance.
