ExxonMobil Awards Money to Local Schools

For the second consecutive year, ExxonMobil has awarded grant money to all three local schools in Port St. Joe.  Each school received $750 to enhance science, math, technology, and reading.

Port St. Joe Elementary Principal Melissa Ramsey said she plans to supplement science consumables.

"We really appreciate Exxon's support, especially in a small, rural community," she said.

Port St. Joe Middle School Principal Juanise Griffin and PSJHS Principal Duane McFarland plan to subsidize their technology programs and enhance the collection in the Media Center.  Both are thrilled to receive this money from the Exxon Educational Alliance Program.
