Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log - Oct. 27

On 10/11/2011 deputies responded to a call about intoxicated subjects refusing to leave a local campground at 2:30 p.m. They made contact with a vehicle as it left the campground; it was occupied by four adults and a child. The driver of the vehicle used her sister’s name and date of birth until a second deputy that knew her arrived on scene. Natasha Antoinette Gilbert,31, was arrested for giving false information to a law enforcement officer and for having a driver’s license expired more than four months. The intoxicated passenger in the vehicle was Rodney Dewayne Adkison,30, who had warrants for his arrested on charges of disorderly conduct from Calhoun County.

On 10/13/2011 Robbie Devon Riley,35, was arrested on warrants for violation of probation for sale of a controlled substance.

On 10/13/2011 a neighbor reported seeing strange people in the yard next to theirs; deputies located Eric Anthony Sims who was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support.

On 10/13/2011 deputies responded to a local bank parking lot concerning a man who appeared to be disoriented or intoxicated. They located Myers Dwight Boring,49, sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. It was determined that his license was suspended and he was arrested n taken to the Gulf County Jail.

On 10/13/2011 Michael A Rooksberry was arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 10/15/2011 deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 71 traveling north. The vehicle turned down Gary Rowell Road and went to the Dead Lakes Campground. The driver and passenger fled into the trees. K-9 Sibal located on of the subjects Melissa Kaye Brogdon,25, hiding in the woods; she was arrested possession of marijuana and resisting without violence. The driver was not identified.

On 10/15/2011 deputies responded to a call of several young people knocking on doors in the Indian Pass area in the early morning hours. The home owner followed the suspects’ vehicle as it travel toward Port St Joe at a high rate of speed without its light on. The deputy located the vehicle on Highway C-30. The driver Cody Dillon Pounsberry,18, was arrested for DUI and possession of alcohol under 21; the passengers Jesse Lee Pounsberry,20, and Marisa Doris Allen,20, were charged with possession of alcohol under 21. The reason they gave for knocking on doors was that they were about out of gas.

On 09/20/2011 Ryan Matthew McDonald,18, was arrested on warrants for Armed Burglary, Grand theft of a Firearm, and dealing in stolen property. It is alleged that on Sept. 20, 2011 McDonald broke into a truck in Wewahitchka and stole a 25 caliber pistol and sold it for $200.

On 10//20/2022 Brian S. Smith,24, was arrested on a warrant from Palm Beach County for violation of probation on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

On 10//20/2011 deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. Billy Wayne Everett,32, is alleged to have hit the victim several times in the left eye with a closed fist.  He was arrested for domestic battery. Donna Marie Laurimore,38, was also at the scene and arrested for failure to pay child support.

On 10/21/2011 deputies responded to a prowler in the St Joe Beach area. Robert Louis Phillips,27, was found hiding behind the air conditioning unit in the back yard. Phillips who was intoxicated was arrested for disorderly conduct, trespassing and obstructing an officer.

On 10/21/2011 Sean Michael Conroy,30, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to possession more than 20 grams of marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana; his charges are part of an ongoing investigation in which several pounds of marijuana was shipped through the US Postal system last month.
