Wewahitchka Man Arrested for Computer Child Pornography
Gulf County Sheriff Joe Nugent announced today that Justin A. Body was taken into custody on charges of possession of computer child pornography.
Body was in possession of multiple images and videos of child pornography which was discovered through an investigation. Body was arrested on Thursday by deputies from the Gulf County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators determined Body, 23, possessed images and videos of child pornography while conducting an online investigation. A search warrant was executed at Body's Wewahitchka residence by investigators from the Sheriff's Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the State Attorney's Office.
Investigators seized two computers and one external hard drive containing images and videos of child pornography, including videos of children no more than five years of age. The equipment removed from Body's home will undergo additional forensic analysis to locate any possible additional images and videos.
Body was charged with 10 counts of possession of computer child pornography and promoting sexual performance of a child. The investigators from the Sheriff's Office and FDLE are members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
The ICAC Task Force is a federally funded program by the United States Department of Justice.
