Spears-Hanson Wedding

Carla Spears of Panama City and Brett Hanson of Panama City were married at 3 p.m. on April 24, 2010 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Millville. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Ricky Purvis and the Rev. Dr. Walter Reeder.

The bride, daughter of Dorthy Ann De Lima of Santa Paula, CA and the late Carl Spears of Panama City, graduated from Bay High School and Florida State University and is employed by the Hampton Inn & Suites Panama City Beach Pier Park. The groom, son of Jana and David Harrelson and Bill Hanson of Port St. Joe, graduated from Port St. Joe High School and Troy University and is employed by Bay Medical Center.

Heidi Lucas was the bride’s matron of honor. Melanie McCormick and Cathleen Parks were bridesmaids. Brian Wood was the groom’s best man. Joey Newberry and Ben McCroan were groomsmen. The flower girl was Kayla Lucas and ring bearer was Jacob Parks.  

The couple honeymooned for a week on a Western Caribbean cruise and will continue to reside in Panama City.
