Treat Others as You Want to Be Treated

Dear Editor,

On Sunday, Dec. 13, my daughters and I were walking down Garrison Avenue on our way to enjoy a day at the park.

We stopped on the side of the road when a car of three teenaged girls drove by, rolled the window down and threw a white condiment cup full of ketchup at my 18 month old daughter's face, hitting her right below her left eye.

While she cried, they laughed and sped off. It is a sad day when a family can't enjoy a nice walk to the park without having to worry about ridiculous actions like this.

I hope the three girls who did this think twice about their actions and how it affects people in the future.

I have always been told that we need to treat others how we want to be treated.
