Don't Close Museums
Don't Close Museums
Dear Editor,
We need your help, friends.
Florida's Division of Recreation and Parks is closing our museums, and we've got to STOP this from happening.
Last night I attended the Apalachicola Area Historical Society meeting. The main discussion was on what we can do to stop our government from closing our museums.
We are now being threatened with the closing of two of Florida's most historical museums in the Panhandle, the John Gorrie of Apalachicola and our own Constitution Convention Museum of Port St. Joe.
We can not let this happen.
Please, please help us stop this from happening!
Please feel free to contact me with any ideas on how we can stop this action from coming true. Let's ALL write letters to Governor Charlie Crist and our legislators. We welcome any help you can share with us.
Contact me at 229-1094.
Thank you,
Beverly Douds
