Thanks for Community Help

Dear Editor:

Two weeks ago my family came to Mexico Beach for the first time for vacation, and fell in love with the whole area, from Apalachicola to Crooked Island. While there, as the result of a minor (but scary) late-night medical problem, we called on the police and emergency medical services divisions of the city's Department of Public Safety.

I want to publicly thank, and brag on, the Department, the kind police officer whose name I didn't get, the Gulf County EMS crew, and especially city paramedic Diana Epple, who came in quickly at midnight to help and reassure my little girl. She even came by our rental house the next day to check on her.

Needless to say, we love Mexico Beach!
