Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log

The Gulf County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the month of January 2010. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line

On 01/11/2009 Andrew Scott Cobb, 43, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear; the warrant was from Gadsden County.

On 01/11/2009 deputies responded to a disturbance in the Wewahitchka area. When deputies arrived they learned that Carlton Jason Dunning, 36, had jumped on several of the people at the residence and fled into the woods.  Gulf Correctional’s K-9 Unit arrived on the scene and began tracking Dunning. He was located a short time later and charged with two counts of aggravated battery and possession of a controlled substance.

On 01/12/2010 Kenneth Adam Gore, 38, was arrested for violation of probation; the original charge was manufacture and possession of methamphetamine.

On 01/11/2010 Lisa Nicole Barlow, 19, was arrested and charged with filing a false police report.
