Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log
The Gulf County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the month of February 2010. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line
On 01/30/2010 Kathleen Marie Shipman, 48, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation; the original charge was uttering a forged instrument.
On 02/01/2010 Timothy Lee Pickron, 33, was arrested on a contempt of court writ.
On 02/01/2010 Sharon Lee Armstrong, 32, was arrested on a child support warrant. She paid a $1,000 purge and was released from jail.
On 02/02/2010 Keith L Bute, 56, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a traffic crash.
On 02/02/2010 a vehicle driven by Doris Ann Chastain, 57, was stopped for reckless driving when she forced several cars off the road. Doris Ann Chastin was charged with possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving. The passenger Sarah Chastin Stoker, 29, was also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
On 02/03/2010 Kevin Eugene Welch, 50, was arrested for violation of probation. The original charge was reckless driving.
On 02/05/2010 a vehicle driven by Anterious Dawayne Jones, 28, was stopped for a traffic infraction, traveling 91 mph in a 60 mph zone. It was determined that his license was suspended; Jones was arrested for DWLSR and issued a speeding citation.
