Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log
The Gulf County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the month of June 2010. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line.
On 05/28/2010 Kendall Wayne Salley was operating a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop the deputy noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person and several field sobriety exercises were conducted. As a result of those exercises Salley was arrested for DUI.
On 05/29/2010 Kyle Cliffton Millirons, 24, was stopped for spinning his tires. When the deputy was speaking with him he noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. Millirons was arrested for DUI and DWLSR.
On 05/29/2010 deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. The victim stated that her husband refused to take her to the doctor and then hit her. David Dewayne Edwards, 50, was arrested for domestic battery.
On 05/29/2010 deputies were investigating a vehicle parked behind a local convenience store. While talking with the occupants of the vehicle another passenger came around the building from the store. The deputy had him stand at the front of the vehicle while he continued to talk to the occupants. The deputy noticed Justin Rayne Taunton, 26, kicked something under the truck. He found a zip lock bag containing marijuana under the truck, and Taunton was arrested for possession of marijuana.
On 05/30/2010 Billy J Staton, Jr., 32, was arrested on a warrant form Polk County.
On 05/31/2010 deputies responded to a call of a reckless vehicle on Highway 71. They located the vehicle and the driver Sandra Ann Pinder, 36, was arrested for DUI. Her breath test results were .142 and .152.
On 05/31/2010 Kaneisha Qunsha Symonette, 27, was arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop. During the traffic stop K9 Zeus made a positive alert for the presence of narcotics. During a search of the vehicle 151 grams of marijuana were located. Symonette was charged with possession of marijuana.
On 06/02/2010 Jeremy Jay Nunnery, 34, was arrested on charges of domestic battery, aggravated assault and trespassing after a disturbance in the Wewahitchka area.
On 06/04/2010 Gulf County Sheriffs Office and the Port St Joe Police Department received a BOLO concerning a kidnapping victim being in a white Chevy Blazer on Highway 98 coming from Apalachicola. The vehicle was located on Highway 98 and a traffic stop was conducted in a church parking lot. Richard Terrell Tyndal, 36, was arrested and charged with fleeing and attempting to elude, possession of a concealed weapon, kidnapping, and attempted murder.
On 06/04/2010 deputies responded to a disturbance where an 84-year-old mad had been beaten by his granddaughter and her boyfriend. Christina Renee McCain, 25, was arrested, two days later. Avery John Holden, 23, was arrested in Bay County. Both were charged with battery on a person over 65.
On 06/08/2010 Timothy Lamar Taunton, 47, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and violation of probation.
On 06/09/2010 Rodney Damon Allen, 26, was arrested on Bay County warrants for aggravated assault and battery on a pregnant woman.
On 05/28/2010 Shedrick Nathaniel Nevels, 29, was arrested on charges of introduction of contraband into a state correctional facility.
On 06/10/2010 George Howard Whitfield was arrested on a warrant for battery.
On 06/10/2010 Brooke Rachelle Grice, 26, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation; the original charge was uttering a forged instrument.
On 06/06/2010 deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. They found that Steven Lava Kent, 50, had hit his wife in the head with a baseball bat; he was arrested on charges of domestic battery.
On 06/10/2010 Joshua Earl Addison was arrested on a violation of probation warrant; the original charge was grand theft,
