Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log
The Gulf County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the month of August 2010. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line
On 08/17/2010 Jerry Thomas Gates, 66, was arrested on charges of resisting with out violence and assault on a law enforcement officer.
On 08/13/2010 Colin Earl Burkett, 29, was arrested on charges of introduction of contraband into a county jail.
On 080/18/2010 David Lee Bolinger, 42, was arrested on charges of grand theft; it is alleged that he stole a bicycle.
On 08/18/2010 William Wayne Thomas, Jr., 33, was arrested on charges of sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of a controlled substance. At the time of his arrest Thomas was out of jail on bond for two counts of sale of crack cocaine. Thomas has 18 previous felony charges with eight felony convictions, and 22 misdemeanor charges with 16 convictions. Thomas is also being held for Franklin County, which has two, warrants for his arrest on sale of cocaine charges.
On 08/19/2010 Donald Ray Hall, 41, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of indecent exposure.
On 08/19/2010 John Wayne Smith, 42, was arrested for Driving with a Suspended or Revoked License.
On 08/22/2010 Zeikel Paul Pitts, 31, was arrested on a Calhoun County warrant for battery.
On 08/22/2010 David W. Dwight, 31, was arrested on charges of domestic battery.
