Gulf County Teen Driver Program

The Gulf County Teen Driver Program, to be held Jan. 15-16, is designed to help young drivers learn how to control a vehicle in an emergency situation. The driver instructor will conduct a four hour classroom portion of instruction and an eight hour portion on the actual driving range. This will be a controlled environment. If you think you are up for the challenge, sign up now. This will be a fun and exciting course. The registration deadline is Jan. 4.

Upon completion of this free course, you will receive a certificate which may qualify you to receive a discount on your insurance policy. Contact your insurance agent for details.

All drivers must have a valid driver's license or learner's permit. No unlicensed drivers may take this course. There will be courses offered throughout the year. For more information, contact Deputy Larry Dickey at the Gulf County Sheriff's Office, 850-227-1115. You will use your own vehicle and must have proof of valid insurance before you can take this course.
