Due Diligence?

Dear Editor:

Months ago when the opposition to the biomas plant began its efforts to stop that scheme the Mayor suggested that we thought he and the Commission had not done due diligence and further suggested that we thought he had "just fallen off the turnip truck". For the record none of the opposition ever said that and, to my knowledge, no one even thought that (the turnip truck part, not the due diligence part).

However, the biomas plant is withdrawing (for predictable reasons) and with revelations that the new $21 million water system doesn't work and continues to deliver unsafe as well as illegal water to the citizens (again, for predictable reasons) perhaps the Mayor is onto something.
