Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log

The Gulf County Sheriff's Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the month of May 2008. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line.
On 05/06 Shannon Dewayne Causey, 27, was arrested for violation of community control. The original charges are sale of a controlled substance.
On 05/06 Harold Wade Small, 56, was arrested for failure to appear on charges of breach of the peace.
On 05/07 deputies arrested Anthony Lee Watts, 26, on a violation of probation warrant. The original charge was DWLSR.
On 05/08 Mark William Moore, 51, of Wewahitchka was arrested on warrants for violation of probation. Moore was also arrested on three warrants from Bay County for armed robbery. It is alleged that he robbed three pharmacies in Bay County over the last three months.
On 05/08 Melinda Gail Kelsoe turned herself in at the Gulf County Jail. She had a warrant for uttering a forged instrument.
On 05/09 Deputies arrested Melissa Marie Mehrman, 30, for possession of marijuana and DWLSR.
During the week of 05/07/2008- 05/12/2008 Gulf County Dispatcher handled 369 calls for service.
