Pickett-Shoaf Wedding
Miss Kimberly Pickett and Mr. Andy Shoaf united in the sacrament of marriage at Six O’clock in the evening on Saturday, October 6, 2007, in the First United Methodist Church of Port St. Joe, with the Reverend Mac Fulcher officiating. The wedding was under the direction of Ms. Deborah Loyless. Wedding music was presented by Mrs. Hilda Duren, organist, with Mrs. Carla May, vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Pickett of Port St. Joe and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Pooler of Panama City. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Britt Pickett of Overstreet, Fl and Mrs. Maggie Pickett of Simmons Bayou, FL, and her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Staten Corbett of Panama City, FL and Mrs. Helen Carlsten of Port St. Joe, FL.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Shoaf of Port St. Joe. His paternal grandparents are Mrs. Ann Shoaf Vaughn and the late Charles Shoaf of Fulton, Tennessee and his maternal grandparents are Mrs. Margaret Costin and the late Cecil G. Costin, Jr. of Port St. Joe, FL.
Bridesmaids were Leslie Earley, Kayce Clements, Jenna Carls on, Lisa Curry, Ashley Bryan, Katie Plott, Whitney Yarbrough and Lindsay Johnson. Groomsmen were Jason Shoaf, Hamp Terry, George Waugh, Clint Miller, Sam Bell, Kristian Richbourg , James Capps and Ben Ashcraft. Ushers were Kyle Pickett, Alan Wise, Alan Lynch and Peter Mettler.
Kerigan Pickett was the flower girl and Dell Pickett was her escort.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Port St. Joe High School and a 2006 graduate of Troy University. She is employed with the St. Joe Company. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Port St. Joe High School and a 2006 graduate of Florida State University. He is employed with the St. Joe Natural Gas Company.
The bride’s parents hosted a sunset reception following the ceremony at the bayside home of the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Maggie Pickett.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Caribbean and currently resides in Port St. Joe.
