A Growing Minds Thank You
Dear Editor:
We want to extend a BIG THANK YOU from all of us at the Growing Minds Center for Autism for this years "Summer Splash" Benefit at the Thirsty Goat.
Thank you to all of our parents, families, friends and committee members who worked hard to make our benefit a success and to all our volunteers who donated their time to help our cause. We appreciated all the silent auction items our local businesses donated to us and everyone in our community for their bountiful donations to us!
A sincere thanks to: The Port Inn and Thirsty Goat-who so generously let's us use their facility and for donating part of the bar proceeds. Thanks to the Warriner Family, Jason Bogan and Dave Ashbrook.
Thanks to our musicians, Dana & Charlie Black and Bo, Randon & Zach of the Bo Spring Band. You are all so amazing-playing music for us without charge and for donating your tips!
Thanks to Centennial Bank who extended the use of their lawn for the dunking booth and for the Gulf County Correctional Institution for lending us the dunking booth. The dunking booth was a hit with the help of these local celebs. Thank you to Steve Kerrigan, Dave Warriner, Ronald Pickett, Warren Yeager, Bill Williams, Jason Bogan and Mel Magidson. We could not have done this without you!

Supporting a center and school to treat children in Gulf County who suffer from mild to severe autism symptoms and other developmental disorders is imperative. This was a great way to support a worthy cause and have a fun time in the process.
