An open letter to the Citizens of Port St. Joe

Dear Editor:

I have just returned to my icy cold home in Denver after a wonderful trip with Gail Alsobrook  to your  wonderful  city.  I have lived coast to coast and border to border during my lifetime and have never met such terrific  people  nor  seen so many signs of  civic  PRIDE.

It must be a truly wonderful place to live and raise a family.  The beauty of this  city  goes  well beyond  the  bay, the Gulf, the  trees  and  the  very well done  downtown area.  It lives in the people, their  warmth and their  willingness  to  extend a  welcome  to  a  Yankee.

We could all learn something from a visit to Port St. Joe.
