Response to plea

Dear Editor,

This is in response to last week’s article about equal treatment in the city of Port St. Joe regarding water quality.

They do treat both sides of the city the same.

I live on Marvin Avenue between 10th and 16th Streets. The city has replaced all the water lines on every street all the way around us but left this section on the old system. I have contacted the city on numerous occasions and get told the same thing ... “we are working on it, but it has been postponed until.....”

I am also tired of the excuses and brown water/rust that comes out of my pipes.

It was reported in The Star about how much money the city saved when they did the pilot project with city workers from 6th Street to 10th Street. It's time to save some more money.

I don't want to be treated the same; I want my water fixed.
