Gulf County Chamber of Commerce invites Gulf County businesses with storefront windows to enter the inaugural Gulf County Holiday Window Decorating Contest. The Holiday Window Decorating Contest is a fun way to celebrate the Holiday Season, create a festive and beautiful area for residents and visitors in Gulf County, and showcase your business.
This is a promotional opportunity for all Gulf County businesses. You were probably planning to accessorize your windows anyway, so why not use this opportunity to engage with the community and get your business noticed?! Gulf County Chamber of Commerce will coordinate the contest and promote participating businesses using social media channels before, during, and after the contest.
How to enter: It is easy to participate in the Holiday Window Decorating Contest. Here is how… Sign-up online by Dec. 1 using the entry form on the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce website: WINDOW DECORATING CONTEST
How it works: Dust off your supplies and get ready! Decorations need to be installed and ready for judging by Dec. 3 and should remain on display through Dec. 25.
On Dec. 3, our secret panel of judges will be making the rounds and selecting the winners for the Best Holiday Window Decoration. So be sure your windows are bright and festive during that time.
This contest also includes a People’s Choice award. Once your windows are decorated, start your individual promotions. Let everyone know about your decorations and to vote for your business. Feel free to create incentives for people to visit your business and vote. Voting for the People's Choice Award will take place online between Dec. 4-19. Each participating business will receive a flyer to place in their window directing people where to go to vote.
We will announce the winners of the Window Decorating Contest via Social Media and continue to promote participating businesses through Dec. 25.
