August 7, 1954 to December 18, 2016
Sandra Daves Richardson, 62 of Port St. Joe, made her way to heaven on December 18, 2016 after a 4- year battle with cancer. Sandra was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on August 7, 1954 to Lavon and Robert Scholes.
Sandra (Sandy) was a positively influential person to anyone that knew her. Her laughter lit up a room like no other. Her care and consideration for others was admirable. Sandy was a nurse for 40 years and touched many lives. During her lifetime, her optimistic view of life in general was appreciated by many as her dedication to her family was first and foremost the priority in her life. She guided those around her with her strength and wisdom and encouraged any person to be as strong as she was. Her love for life will be forever bestowed upon all of those that she ever so humbly blessed with her presence. She will be missed and always remembered lovingly by her husband, Alan Richardson; daughter: Symphanie Daves; stepdaughters: Alana Richardson, Katie Richardson, and Lilly Richardson; sons: Ken Daves, Mike Daves and Matt Daves; sister: Sharon Scholes Bowie; brother: Clay Scholes; and predeceased brother: Mark Scholes; and 14 grandchildren
Services will be held 11 a.m. CT on Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Wewahitchka, FL (4060 N. Hwy 71). At Sandra’s request, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to Cancer Treatment Centers of America
