A six-run seventh inning and a two-hitter from Brianna Bailey paced the Wewahitchka Jr./Sr. High School softball team to a victory over North Florida Christian last week.

The Lady Gators (6-2) are in Orlando this week for a tournament.

Bailey allowed just two hits and ended the game with a double-play.

Wewahitchka pounded out 14 hits, but did not take the lead until the sixth inning when the Lady Gators scored a single run on a stolen base.

Doubles by Gracie Price and Naomi Parker, a single by Jade McLemore and stolen based by Cecily Hale and Haley Guffey keyed the seventh inning rally that clinched the win.

Guffey, who went 2 for 3, drove in three runs to help pace the Wewahitchka attack, with McLemore, Price, Guffey, Bailey and Cyrina Madrid each producing multiple hits.
