The Tiger Sharks lost a squeaker at Bozeman before routing Graceville at home.

Bozeman scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to escape with the win.

Austin Nobles started on the mound for Port St. Joe and went six innings, allowing one run on one hit while striking out three and walking four.

Nobles was responsible for the winning run.

Chris Stockton entered in relief in the seventh inning and allowed a hit and a run.

Caden Turrell, who went 2 for 3, scored the Tiger Sharks’ lone run on a run-scoring single by Jaden Grantland.

Bryce Register had a double, Nobles and Ethan Sander had singles and Caleb Butts was 2 for 4 as the Tiger Sharks collected eight hits.

Port St. Joe 13, Graceville 3

The Tiger Sharks pounded out 12 hits, including a two-run homer by Sander, in the game shortened to six innings on the mercy rule.

Butts reached base three times, scored and drove in a run, Turrell reached three times, scored three runs and drove in another, Nobles walked, doubled and scored twice.

Cameron Harmon and Elijah Hester was each 2 for 4, Harmon scoring twice and Hester scoring one and driving in one, Register was 2 for 3 and scored and Grantland reached via single and walk.

Kelvin Griffin scored twice.

Hester was the starter on the mound, going five innings and allowing four hits and three runs while striking out six and walking five.

Register pitched the sixth frame, allowing one hit while striking out one.

Port St. Joe is at Panama City Beach Arnold Friday; the Tiger Sharks next home game is Tuesday against Blountstown. (See more information under Things to Do, Page A2.)
