Georgia Ray Cleckley, 7, of Wewahitchka has been chosen as a finalist in the National American Miss Florida Pageant to be held July 6-8 at the Hyatt Regency Waterfront in Jacksonville.
The pageant is held for girls ages 4 through 18 in five different age divisions.
Georgia will be competing in the Miss Junior Pre-Teen Florida and for prizes that include $1,000, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland.
Contestants compete in four categories: formal wear, personal introduction, interview and community service project.
Geogia is involved with t-ball with the Dixie Youth, hip hop dance at Creative Movement in Callaway, Upward Cheer and enjoys going to church, art and being with family and friends.
