The Capital City Group Foundation awarded the Port Theatre Art and Culture Center a grant in the amount of $1,200. At the presentation were Wayland Fulford, Market President, Capital City Bank; Aaron D Little, Market Service Manager, Capital City Bank; David Warriner, Trish Warriner and Natalie Shoaf of the Port Theatre Art and Culture Center.

Capital City Bank proudly supports organizations that build strong communities by enhancing the quality of life where we live and do business; it strives to be a catalyst to engage and support associate volunteerism and involvement.

“We believe that the goals of the Port Theatre Art and Culture Center match the goals of our Foundation,” Fulford said, “and we are pleased to present this great organization a grant.”

The historic theatre opened its doors again in 2017 with the successful Third Thursday series and the board appreciates all the support, in-kind donations and volunteers that have contributed to its success thus far.

“We are grateful to Capital City Bank Group Foundation for this wonderful grant and look forward to helping our community grow and prosper as an anchor for Downtown Port St Joe and a major attraction for Gulf County,”, Shoaf said.
