Practical solutions for fixing the healthcare system will be discussed 7 p.m. CT Monday, May 29 at Lifetree Café.
The program, titled “Curing Healthcare: Practical Help for an Ailing Nation,” features a filmed interview with healthcare insider Joe Flower, author of Healthcare Beyond Reform.
“In our system, even a person with a good job and good insurance is one serious disease away from bankruptcy and permanent poverty,” said Fowler. “To me, there is something screwy about that, and it’s something we can fix.”
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. Lifetree Café is located at 1602 U.S. Highway 98 in Mexico Beach across from El Governor Motel.
