Calvin Grady Dean, age 81, passed away May 21, 2017, at his home in Wewahitchka, Florida. He was born to Daniel Webster Dean and Eula Mae Ramsey on January 27, 1936 in Blountstown, Florida.
He spent most of his life in Wewahitchka where he graduated from high school. He attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida. He finished his tour in the United States Air Force in the 35th and 1400th Air Police Squadron. Grady retired from Premier (Michigan Chemical) in Port St. Joe, where he worked as a Furnace Operator. He was a member of Abe Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Grady's life was devoted to God, his family and friends. He was happiest sharing his love of God and working in his garden.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn Jean Dean, both parents and brother, William Dean.
He is survived by his wife Angela Hiers Dean; sons, Calvin of Wewahitchka, Daniel (Michelle) of Cairo, Georgia, Christopher of Newburgh, Indiana; step-son Philip Adams of Tallahassee; and brother Carl (Myrtice) Dean of Wewahitchka; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Corey, Calvin, Phillip, Logan, Talisa, and Benjamin and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held 10 a.m. CT May 30, 2017 at Abe Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church, 12579 SW County Road 275, Blountstown, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations to be made to Abe Springs PHC Building Fund.
