High school football programs in the county picked up summer workouts beginning this week, with conditioning and camps slated the month of June.
The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School girls basketball team will also have a busy month.
The Lady Tiger Sharks opened summer play over the weekend with a scrimmages against Springfield Rutherford. Bay, Arnold, Bozeman, Florida High, Chipley and Thomasville, GA also participated.
During the month, the Port St. Joe girls will travel to play in Crestview, Freeport, Blountstown, Bozeman, Thomasville and Brookwood (GA) High.
The Lady Tiger Sharks held a bake sale at the Piggly Wiggly late last month to raise money to travel and play this summer.
The girls would like to thank everybody who donated money and a big thanks to the Piggly Wiggly, Reginald Larry and Terri Browning.
