The June meeting of the Gulf County Democratic Executive Committee (DEC) will be held 7-8:30 p.m. ET Monday, June 12 at the WIG building, 401 Peters Street in Port St. Joe.

On the agenda for Monday evening:

- Creation of an Issues Committee – the group would work on long-term issues of importance to Democrats in Gulf County, such as health care, environment, youth development and others. If members have an issue they want to see addressed by the DEC, this is the meeting to attend. We are always looking for members who are excited to get involved.

- Committee reports including the great results the Voting Rights Restoration committee achieved at the Wewahitchka Tupelo Honey Festival.

We are excited to be moving to our new meeting location at the WIG (Washington Improvement Group) building. Please feel free to come early to help set up or get to know other Democrats in Gulf County. Since this is a new location and may not have adequate seating for our crowd, please bring a folding chair with you.
