The challenges and rewards of parenting will be explored at 7 p.m. CT Monday, June 19 at Lifetree Café.
The program, titled “Imperfect Parents: Making Peace and Moving On,” features a screening of And What Remains, an award-winning short film.
“We’ve all learned lessons from our parents that have shaped who we are,” said Lifetree representative Craig Cable. “This program is dedicated to unpacking how those lessons have changed us for good or for bad.”
During the program, Lifetree Café participants will have the opportunity to discuss how the forces that shaped their parent’s lives have impacted their own.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. Lifetree Café is located at 1602 U.S. Highway 98 in Mexico Beach across from El Governor Motel.
