The GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club had a booth at the Independence Festival on Saturday, July 1, at Lake Alice Park. Our booth was decorated very patriotic in celebration of our great country. To promote the GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club, we had GFWC information brochures about our club as well as 2 large boards with each of our Community Service Projects listed with information and photos.

Along with Emergency preparedness pamphlets for adults and children, we had brochures for GFWC Signature Project Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention. We held a drawing for great prizes and sold numerous cakes, cookies, brownies and pies and commemorative Wewahitchka plates. A great big thank you to the community for coming out and supporting The GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club.
