Mr. Arthur Andrew Bozeman, 71, of Dalkeith (Wewahitchka), FL was called home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2017, after complications from surgery at Bay Medical Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1946 in Panama City, Fl and grew up in Wewahitchka, Fl.
Arthur retired after serving 21 years in the U.S Navy where he spent time as an Electrician on a Nuclear Submarine. He went on to work another 15 years as a Guard at Washington County Prison. He retired and lived each day to the fullest enjoying all of his passions; time with family and friends, fishing, his beloved pets, wrestling, and most recently his tractor. All who knew him appreciated his passion for fresh water fishing and love of Burgess Creek. He enjoyed fellowship with family and friends, which most often included fishing, food, and laughter. Many people throughout the years have benefited from his generous and giving nature. Arthur loved God and held a mutual love and respect for all of his brothers and sisters in Christ. He was a member of Honeyville Methodist Church.
Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Willie Clyde Bozeman; mother, Ada Leona Lanier Bozeman; and first wife, Myrtice Louise Bozeman.
He left behind his childhood friend and loving wife for 17 years, Sarah Ruth Bozeman; children, Arthur Andrew Bozeman II (Tami), Robert Mark Bozeman (Leslie), Lawrence Kemp (Lisa), and Stacy Kemp Bryan (Ernie); grandchildren, Daniel Bozeman, Drew Bozeman, Anjolene Bozeman, Ember Bryan, Easton Bryan, Christian Hall, Lauren Hall, Cory Hall; and two great grandchildren, Maxwell and Jackson Bozeman. He is also survived by two brothers, Jim Bozeman (Barbara) and Greg Bozeman (Libby), along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, July 10 at Honeyville Methodist Church. He was laid to rest at Roberts Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Florida.
Services were under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home.
