The Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade classes of Wewahitchka Elementary were visited by our local EMS Responders on Oct. 19 for Fire Prevention Week. The students enjoyed a presentation by Mr. Brad Price to understand the importance of having a plan in place in case of an emergency. After the presentation, the students got to meet Smokey the Bear, and observe the fire trucks first-hand. The students were also excited to receive fire hats, pencils, and goodie bags to take home. This was very exciting for our young students at WES! We are thankful for the special visit!
