Mrs. Kathy P. Medley, 66, of White City, Fla., passed away Friday, January 12, 2018.

She was born in Tallahassee to Paul E. and Barbara Hudson Bratcher. She was employed by the Apalachicola Northern Railroad for many years and retired from the Gulf County Public Defender’s Office in June, 2017.

Kathy enjoyed horse back riding as a young woman and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, camping and cheering for the FSU Seminoles. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church (AOG) and lived out her faith on a daily basis.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul. Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Jack E. Medley; sons Casey B. Medley of Findlay, Ohio, and Chad E. Medley, wife, Kasey; and three grandchildren, Anthony James Pratt, Moss Mathew Medley and Estella Paulette Medley of White City; mother, Barbara Bratcher of Tallahassee; sister Christine Reese and husband, Tommy, of White City; and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly. She fought the good fight, she finished her course, and she kept the Faith.

Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m., ET Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Oak Grove Assembly of God in Port St. Joe, Fla., with Pastor Steve Poppell, Brother Jim Gainnie and Billy Hudson officiating. Interment followed at 4 p.m. ET in New Hope Cemetery in Tallahassee, Fla.
