TPR sports: Baseball and softball registration for boys 7 to 15 and girls 7 to 18 years old opens Feb. 5. You can go to Chauvin Gym to register from 4-8 p.m. Parents can register at the gym the first two weeks or at the TPR Office on Barrow Street until March 2. You must furnish copies of your children’s birth certificates. The cost is $20.

Krewe of Bayou Petit Caillou parade: Krewe of Bayou Petit Caillou parade will at noon Feb. 3, starting at the Chauvin Swimming Pool and ending at Marty J’s. on La. 56 in Chauvin.

First Friday devotion: St. Joseph Catholic Church will hold its first Friday devotion Friday beginning with Mass at 8:30 a.m., followed by a devotional service and quiet time before the blessed sacrament.
