Concert April 7 at WindMark Beach

The timing could not be better, for a community and a band.

The Brothers Osborne will hold an album release concert where the album took shape, Port Saint Joe.

The band’s sophomore record is entitled, “Port Saint Joe” after the brothers arranged and recorded the album in the Gulf County beach house of their producer, Jay Joyce.

The Gulf County Tourist Development Council partnered with the St. Joe Company and D.R. Horton to bring the band, along with opener Kendell Marvel, to Port St. Joe on April 7, according to a release from the TDC.

The concert will be held outdoors at the WindMark Beach green; seating is limited to 500.

“We know our proud local residents will come out in appreciation to the duo for naming their album Port Saint Joe, but we also look forward to welcoming many out of town guests to visit the town that inspired Brothers Osborne”, said Kristy Grove, Marketing Director for Gulf County TDC.

The album "Port Saint Joe" will be formally released April 20 and The Brothers Osborne, along with Marvell will head overseas for a tour that begins May 7. A single "Shoot Me Straight" was released last month.

Gates will open at 3 p.m. ET April 7 at WindMark Beach and the music will begin at 4 p.m. on the lawn.

Tickets will be available for purchase online only beginning 10 a.m. ET March 12 and are very limited.

Ticket information can be found at www.VisitGulf.com.

Shuttles will bring ticketed guests to the concert area in WindMark Beach where attendees will be able to purchase food and beverage and enjoy the beach breeze while listening to Brothers Osborne.

“Gulf County is home to an abundance of lodging options including hotels, inns and rental homes that are available for concert guests, as well as lodging located within the WindMark Beach concert venue,” said Kelli Godwin, executive director of the TDC. “Why not make it a beach vacation and enjoy everything Gulf County has to offer?

“It may be your first time to visit Port St. Joe, but we promise it will not be your last.”
