We are fortunate to have a veritable army of photographers, visitors and residents alike, who share the beauty of this place many of us call home to, whether for a month or 20 years.
Some of those photographers provide a rather unique vision of what can be scene around the county, diving underwater to provide vivid reminders of what swims in local waters.
And, maybe, how precious those waters to maintaining and sustaining all that draws so many.
Further, some of these images spotlight the work of the Mexico Beach Artificial Reef Association and the variety of life drawn to the organization’s handiwork.
So, this week on Outdoors, we’ll take a look below the surface while thanking, in particular, Cathy Cox and Karen and Griff Gainnie for these images.
