Capital City Bank donates to Junior Achievement

Capital City Bank recently donated $500 toward the work of Junior Achievement in Gulf County.

The money will be used for a class sponsorship in the Gulf District Schools.

Junior Achievement provides life skills classes in entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness to students in the 5th, 8th, and 11th and 12th grades.  All classes are taught by volunteers from the business community and are subsidized by contributions from individuals and businesses.

Junior Achievement is a world-wide educational, non-profit, organization, providing 105 classes and reaching approximately 2,500 students in Gulf, Bay and Washington counties each year. For more information, contact Jackie Brooks at 850-624-0524 or email jabay@knology.net.
