Dempsey Graduates Basic

Air Force Airman Victoria L. Dempsey graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Dempsey earned distinction as an honor graduate.

She is the daughter of Kaye Reed of Gulf Air Drive, Port St. Joe, Fla., and David Reed of Moss Hill Road, Chipley, Fla.

The airman graduated in 2003 from Vernon High School, Fla., and received an associate degree in 2006 from Gulf Coast Community College, Panama City, Fla.
