Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday observance

The annual community Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Birthday Observance Program will be held Sunday, Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. ET at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church in Port St. Joe. 

On Monday, Jan. 16 honoring the national holiday, scheduled activities consist of arts and crafts, a spelling contest, youth talent show, and other educational entertainment focusing on the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  The activities are planned to begin after the “Neighborhood Clean-Project”, from noon to 5 p.m. ET at the Washington Recreation Center.
