December Chapel

On Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, we had a great chapel in the lunchroom. Everyone sat on mats and enjoyed a lovely Christmas story while having a tasty cup of hot chocolate. The book read was “The Crippled Lamb.” written by Max Lucado and illustrated by Liz Bonham. Mrs. Carla read the story while we listened and drank the hot chocolate. The story was about a little lamb named Joshua that was crippled. The other lambs and the Shepherds were leaving him to go to another pasture, because Joshua was crippled. He was very sad and his friend, Abigail, told him that God has something special in store for everyone who feels left out. And, just as Abigail said, God had something amazing in store for him. Joshua was one of the first to welcome the new baby King, Jesus Christ.

 Faculty

Mrs. Debbie Burch

Mrs. Debbie has been faithfully serving at Faith Christian School for thirteen years. That’s as old as me!! She attends Long Avenue Baptist Church where she also serves as the custodian. Her husband, Rusty, works for the police department and she has two children, Trevor and Tiffany. Mrs. Debbie is a wonderful, loving, and kind person. She has this sense about her that she is a mother to everyone. She’ll probably try to iron your socks if you let her! I love Mrs. Debbie!

We would like to welcome Tiffany Burch to the staff! She is the daughter of Mrs. Debbie. Tiffany is an aide to Mrs. Kelly. She is a kind person just like her mom. Welcome to the staff, Tiffany!!
